Made from organically grown red oranges, this juice is an excellent source of antioxidants, especially anthocyanins - pigments that provide the specific color and have powerful anti-inflammatory and anti-aging effects. Vitamin C supports the immune system, while vitamin A and potassium contribute to skin health and blood pressure regulation. The sweet-sour taste makes it ideal for morning, breakfast or whenever you feel the need for a natural boost of freshness. It is a real tonic that supports overall vitality and good mood.
INGREDIENT
Organic red orange juice (Citrus × sinensis)
VITAMINS AND NUTRIENTS
Red orange juice contains polyphenolic compounds including flavonoids such as anthocyanins, hesperidin and narirutin. It also contains significant amounts of carotenoids, vitamin C, calcium and potassium.
Flavonoid
Flavonoids such as hesperidin and narirutin exert an antioxidant effect. Hesperidin is a type of flavonoid with important pharmacological effects such as free radical neutralization and anti-inflammatory effect. Narirutin may exert anticancer, neuroprotective, stress-reducing, hepatoprotective, antiallergic, antidiabetic, anti-adipogenic, anti-obesity and immunomodulatory effects. Narirutin also has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activity.
Antociani
Anthocyanins are the substances that give fruits and vegetables their purple, blue or red color. Anthocyanins are the main antioxidant compounds in blood orange juice. The health benefits of anthocyanins are recognized in the literature, in particular their importance in the prevention of diseases associated with oxidative stress, such as cardiovascular and neurodegenerative diseases.
Carotenoid
Carotenoids such as xanthophylls, cryptoxantins and carotenes also have important antioxidant activity and may reduce the risk of developing chronic degenerative diseases. Carotenoids may enhance immune response and inhibit mutagenesis. Carotenoids also protect against solar radiation-induced tissue damage.
Vitamin C
Vitamin C is also known as ascorbic acid. It is a water-soluble vitamin that occurs naturally in various fruits and vegetables. The human body cannot synthesize vitamin C endogenously, so it is an essential dietary component obtained exclusively from food. In addition to its function in the biosynthesis of certain compounds and its antioxidant function, vitamin C plays an important role in immune function and improves iron absorption. Vitamin C is required for the biosynthesis of collagen, L-carnitine and certain neurotransmitters and plays an important role in protein metabolism. Vitamin C is a physiologically important antioxidant and has been shown to regenerate other antioxidants in the body, including vitamin E.
Calcium
Calcium is an essential mineral for healthy bones and teeth, with most of the body's calcium being stored in them. Calcium is also important for the muscular and nervous system, for the health of the cardiovascular system and in the synthesis of hormones involved in many functions of the human body.
Potassium
Potassium is an important mineral for multiple functions in the human body, including proper functioning of the kidneys and heart, muscle contraction and nerve signal transmission. Potassium is present in all tissues of the body and is necessary for normal cell function due to its role in maintaining intracellular fluid volume.
POSSIBLE BENEFITS
Antioxidant effect
Red orange juice contains high amounts of various compounds, including polyphenols such as flavanones, anthocyanins, hydroxycinnamic acids, but also ascorbic acid with powerful antioxidant effects.
Anticarcinogenic effect
Red oranges are rich in antioxidants that may have anti-proliferative effects. It has been shown that antioxidants such as caffeic, ferulic and coumaric acids present may have anticarcinogenic effects. Studies also show that increased consumption of citrus fruits may be associated with a lower risk of developing several types of cancer.
Immunostimulant effect
Because blood oranges contain a significant dose of vitamin C, they can help boost immunity. Studies show that supplementing your diet with vitamin C can help shorten the duration of upper respiratory tract infections, reduce their severity and even improve the healing process in severe infections. In addition, blood oranges contain a variety of antioxidants. Antioxidants are compounds that can help neutralize harmful free radicals, reducing inflammation and harmful oxidative processes in the body.
Toning and vitaminizing effect
Red oranges are low in calories but high in fiber, vitamins and minerals. Red oranges also contain high amounts of vitamin C. Vitamin C is an essential micronutrient that acts as an antioxidant and plays an important role in supporting the immune system. Red oranges also contain potassium, folate, folic acid, copper, magnesium, B vitamins and antioxidant compounds such as hydroxycinnamic acid, caffeic acid, ferulic acid and coumaric acid.
Anti-obesity effect
Red oranges are low in calories and high in fiber, which can help increase satiety. Some research also shows that increased consumption of citrus fruits may be beneficial for weight loss.
Good for digestion
Red oranges are a very good source of fiber. Fiber can help regulate bowel transit. Adding more fiber to the diet can also help improve the health of the gut microbiome. Research shows that the gut microbiome plays an important role in digestion and immune function.
AFFECTIONS
Viral infections
Viral infections are contagious diseases caused by viruses. There are several types of viral infections, including respiratory infections, gastric infections, herpes infections, skin infections and many others. The symptoms of a viral infection will depend on the part of the body affected and the virus contacted. Most viral infections go away on their own, but some infections can become severe and require treatment.
Oncologic diseases (cancer)
Cancer is a large group of diseases that can start in almost any organ or tissue of the body when abnormal cells grow out of control and invade adjacent parts or spread to other organs. Cancer is the second leading cause of death globally. Lung, prostate, colorectal, stomach and liver cancers are the most common types of cancer in men, while breast, colorectal, lung, cervical and thyroid cancers are the most common in women.
Astenie
