Sea buckthorn oil is considered a precious elixir of health, obtained by cold-pressing the fruit and seeds of the sea buckthorn. This oil is extremely rich in fatty acids omega-3, omega-6, omega-7 and omega-9, being one of the few vegetable oils containing omega-7 naturally. These essential fatty acids contribute to healthy skin, support brain function and reduce inflammation in the body. The oil is also a valuable source of vitamin E and carotenoid, which strengthen the immune system and support cell regeneration. Internally, sea buckthorn oil is used to support digestive health - including gastritis and ulcers - and to regulate cholesterol levels. Externally, it is used in dermatological treatments for dry, irritated or eczematous skin. It is an ideal ally during periods of stress, intense exertion or prolonged exposure to aggressive environmental factors.

VITAMINS AND NUTRIENTS

Total carotenoids

Carotenoids are yellow, orange or red pigments synthesized by plants. The most commonly found carotenoids in nature are alpha-carotene, beta-carotene, beta-cryptoxanthin, lutein, zeaxanthin and lycopene[1][6]. The antioxidant activity of carotenoids is very important and may reduce the risk of developing chronic degenerative diseases[2].

Beta-carotene

Beta-carotene is an orange pigment found in certain fruits and vegetables. It is a precursor of vitamin A, which means that in the human body it is converted into vitamin A (retinol).
