Melarium® acacia honey is a general tonic with antiseptic properties, easily recognizable by its yellowish-golden color, taken from honeycombs. It is relatively clear, with high transparency.
Acacia honey is recommended for:
- colds, coughs,
- acidic gastritis, ulcers,
- memory impairment,
- insomnia, asthenia,
- gynecological diseases,
- diseases of the kidneys,
- disorders of blood circulation,
- rheumatism
- Neuroses.
It has a specific, fragrant, fine smell, without being pronounced, a pleasant, sweet taste. It is very rich in fructose, being excellent for children and pregnant women. It is most easily absorbed in the body, compared to other types of honey.
Acacia honey is rich in enizms, antioxidants, calcium, potassium, silicon, magnesium, phosphorus, copper, lactic acid, citric, malic, phytohormones, vitamins B1, B2, B 6, B 9, B 12 and many other bio-active nutrients and substances, with beneficial effects on the body.
Melarium acacia honey® is easily recognizable, is almost colorless, remaining relatively fluid, because it does not crystallize (does not saccharis) until after a period of one to two years. Unfortunately, this also makes it more vulnerable to falsification, with mixtures of infusions or teas of acacia and sugar introduced into the hives, and can be easily confused. Lack of smell or a heavy smell, respectively too strong a perfume are indications of falsification.
As a natural antibiotic of the highest quality, acacia honey is used since ancient times. It is also preferred when wintering hives, so that the bees have optimal and healthy energy resources, being spared from additional effort.
For the same reasons, Melarium acacia honey® is successfully used for the recovery after convalescence of people who have undergone an operation or disease that has weakened the body. We make sure that our bees are happy, and those who consume our products are aware of the importance of a life that respects and integrates harmoniously with nature.
